Yesterday i was so disappointed coz my beloved
Ms. Physiotherapist from SGH did not give
me my favourite electrical stimulation therapy!!!

So sad la can? Haiyoyo.

So cant stand my utter sadness and have to meet
up with my beloved Emillia coz i need to take out
all my anger on her cute face right…

Wahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaha.

So brought her to Vivocity and take her
jalan-jalan (walk-walk) around that big damn place
until even Harbourfront Centre. I swear my right
knee was shouting for help. So tired!!

And what do i do when i get tired? Stop and eat!!!

So because i was so darn hungry and Emi havent
try eating there before, we decided to dine-in at
Ramen-10 at harbourfront. Japanese!! I loike!!

So we wasted no time in ordering our food. So i was
on a very tight budget coz i didnt expect to meet her
that day, so she treat me!!! No, im not a kucing-berkurap
(cat with fleas) bf that doesnt pay always. Dont
believe me? Ask her yourself.

Anywaysssss,

On my last outing to Ramen 10, i tried almost all
of the dry ramen there except for this one,
the Spicy Seafood Dry Ramen. And it is also under one
of the ‘must try’ category in the menu.

This is definitely a spicy alert and those with weak
stomachs are not advised to eat this unless ure cleared
by your doctor or specialist. Serious!!!! The toilet visits i had
at home after is just overwhelming. But thats another story.

Well, this ramen dish is so nice the only flaw
it has is that some parts of the shelled seafood got
chipped off while cooking, and so at times you get
those irritating encounters with tiny hard shells in the
ramen or the sauce. Other than that, the seafood is aplenty,
and cooked to perfection. Very nice.

And so baby decided to order the Teriyaki Beef Don,
and its only because the ‘must try’ Chicken Don is not
yet prepared!!! What kind of nonsense is that?! Something
that is a ‘must try’ on the menu is not prepared yet?
Whatever la rite?

However, to me, its always a delight to eat small pieces
of well cooked, tender beef. Its so the melts-in-your-mouth
experience, and the teriyaki sauce is good only slightly
to the salty side. But, theres nothing a little chilli flakes cant
fix right? Eat with the japanese rice and youre on your way
to heaven, but this meal is filling. So watch out.

The Hana Maki was just too tempting for us to resist,
and it made the perfect side order, with the japanese
rice side-wrapped with salmon sashimi and topped with
tuna mayo and ebikko. Darn. Darn good that is.

Need i even explain here? Seriously.
Vanilla Waffle Ice-cream. Simply put, crisp waffle
with soft vanilla ice-cream on top, with a splash of
sweet hot chocolate fudge and a tinge of maple syrup.
What a good way to end Ramen-10 dining pleasure.

And as if the dessert wasnt enough,

We even bought ice-cream from Uzumaki at a stall
on level 2 at harbourfront centre. This one is called
bubble milk tea with pearls. What a long name for a small
cup of ice-cream. But i like it. It tasted really nice eventually.

Speaking of bubble milk tea,
we drank like 2 different bubble teas yesterday.
So the bubble tea obsession continues, with us drinking
Honeydew Milkshake when we met in the afternoon,
and closed our outing with Sour Plum Milk Tea on the way
home at night.

We are doing this bubble tea conquest thingy,
by tasting every single possible concoction of bubble
tea that can or possibly be made. I bet none of you have tried
sour plum milk tea rite? How about passion fruit milkshake?

Ok to rate, Ramen-10 (based on orders and dine-in exp),
gets a whopping 4 stars out of 5 for me. Maybe i just love
japanese food. I dunno. And the ice cream gets 2½ stars, yes
its nice, but its no Ben and Jerry’s.

So if you wanna try it, dont be shy.
Dont get second thoughts. Just do it.
You wont know when ull drop down and die.

Firstly to all fellow labourers out there,
Happy Labour Day!!!!!
You people deserve today’s rest but sadly
its never enough is it?

Wahahahahahahahaha…

And for cheap labourers like construction, foreign
and most importantly, the NSFs (people on NS),
todays break will only seem like sunday, where you
still have to die tmr at work.  

However, speaking of cheap labour and NSFs,
1st May means that im fast approaching my
ORD (operationally ready date), which is in June.

Thats like 1 month and 12 days more!!!
I just cant wait to finish this phase of my tired life,
and move on. I hope time will move faster!!!!

So im at my best discipline at work nowadays,
except for some occasional moments when i
managed to escape early from work!!
Wahahahahahahaahaha..

Yes, i do not want any trouble just before i ORD,
not especially when im already this close
before they finally cut off this chain that they tied
on me about almost 2 yrs ago.

Well, seriously, i think Labour Day should be
more than just 1 day off,
assuming that most of us blue-collared
people (at least for now), work our asses day
in and day out and get so little pay.

Already serve as cheap labourers, still have to
work so hard for our not-that-smart-afterall
superiors and take in every single crap and fancy.
To think about it, it isnt fair at all.

Have more compassion and appreciation on what
we do every single day,
and treat us to a minimum of 2 days holidays
at the least. Thats all we hope for. Just
some well deserved rest.

But unfortunately, such things will not be heard,
coz people tend to ignore requests like ours.
That is why always do well in life and be somebody
at the top. Becoz if ure not other people’s superior,
at least you can make a difference by implementing
things that can be heard and taken into consideration.

Its an unfair world, but its where we live.
Like it or not, thats the reality and we have to try and
embrace it.

Anyways, tmr is another date with ms. physiotherapist
at SGH. Hopefully theres another session of
electrical stimulation!!! Cant wait!!!!

Today im quite sad.
Coz ive been hit with two different kinds of
difficulties or shld i rightfully say,
two things absolutely tragic.

Now wad can this two things be you might think,
that is affecting me so much,
i cant even eat or sleep right the moment i came
home from work just now?

Did anyone die? Did my car got hit?
Did i lose money? Did i quarrel with anyone?
Did i do something illegal?
What can it be????

The answer is none of the above.
This is something more serious ok!!!
1) My handphone screen cracked
2) My guitar string snapped..
Wahahahahahahahahaahahhaahahahaha..

This is not the 1st time my handphone LCD
screen had cracked on me, and when it did,
i cant even read the display and for whatever
reason i cant make outgoing calls also.

The most irritating thing that my hp screen
always cracked when i wore my size 4 uniform pants!!
I think its too tight for me, and seriously,
i think my ass is getting fatter!!!

And its not even my phone!! Its my daddy’s!! Damn..

And one of my guitar string snapping out of
its damn bloody socket is no joke ok!!!
Im depressed coz without my full 6 strings, i cant
play the guitar!!! And its my all important last string!!

So how am i supposed to sing about love?
How am i supposed to pass my time?
How am i going to answer to my fingers?
How am i going to showcase my talent?

I cant anymore now that one string is gone!!!!
And i dont have an extra string. All used up.

Im not over-reacting ok.
Im just crazy thats all.
Crazy about songs and phones!!!

I really love all sorts of food-balls as i would
usually call it (its a family thing),
be it fish balls, sotong balls, beef balls and
of course one of my favourites, Japanese balls.

In case you dont know, these japanese balls are
also known as takoyaki.

By now you should have known i hold Japanese
food in very high regard, and hardly can
live without it. So you would imagine,
such lovely balls, so delicious, so juicy, and when
eaten piping hot…..

It just explodes in your mouth!!!! I loike!!!!

The ones i bought were from a stall in Funan,
and i think it wasnt that bad,
in which the fillings are quite in a bigger portion
than normally you would find it.

Oh ya, i love prawn and octopus takoyaki.
Well, there was once i ate freshly prepared
chilli tuna takoyaki, but its like ive gotten amnesia,
and forgotten where i bought it from.
It was one of the best takoyaki i tasted.

So as long as food-balls are here to stay,
expect my cute and handsome face to be around
longer than you want to.
Coz i just love me ballssss…

So i had a hot date with my physiotherapist
at SGH today la can???
Wahahahahaahahahaha…

A grueling 1and a half hours session,
i didnt feel any improvements at all,
although the electrical stimulation therapy
was very nice. Ok nvm, its not
what you people think ok!!!

The true hot date was my dear Emillia,
who accompanied me to the hospital and
waited patiently for me to finish. Such a
girl, is hard to find, yet she makes it soo easy
for me to cherish her. Thanks alot.

And of course, after 90 mins of physio,
a man can get very very hungry!!!
So we decided to dine in at Swensens at
Causeway Point. It has been a while
since i last ate there, and im so loving it!

Ok, so we started off with the soup first,
and it was the Seafood Soup for today. Im not
really a big fan of soups, but i love this
one coz its not bland at all. It has an array of
seafood flavours, and the generous amounts of
pepper i put in just blends very well.

And for starters, we decided to go with the
Baked Mussels, becoz it looks so yummy!!
And it is yummy!!! The mussels are big and juicy,
and very perfectly baked, not too overdone.
And the bake sauce is very buttery, and it seems
they added some garlic spread in there. Splendid.

So Emillia dear ordered the Crayfish Pasta
for her main course, which is a good choice. I
have tried this dish a few times already, and i never
gotten sick of it. Classic, and very delightful.
Full of flavour and generous crayfish portion, if
you have not tried this yet, you are missing out.

And i decided to be adventurous, and went on
to try a dish i never tasted before, Salmon Peso Saute.
Ok, i may be a bit biased here coz i love salmon,
but i think the fish was sauteed perfectly, not too
light and not overly panned. Im not really head over
heels about this dish though, but its quite good.

Now this is absolutely super duper delicious.
This ice-cream cake, which i do not know the
name to, was part of the main course set dessert.
It has a bit of the mocha-nescafe taste, and the
warm raspberry sauce on top and chocolate piece
just finishes it off well. Loved it.

This was the highlight of the day.
The Walnut Rocky Road , which is served in a hot
sizzling pan. It has chewy chocolate ice-cream on
top of a sort of brownie-pie, with hot caramel sauce
and lots of walnuts and melting marshmellow
pieces. Can you feel it in your mouth now?
Emillia was going crazy eating it!!! So was i!!!

So overall, today’s Swensens dine in was
a great experience for our pallates. And it so
deserved the 4 stars out of 5 rating. Not exactly
the place or food for those on a tight budget,
but seriously, its worth it lah!!!!!

Working office hours near city hall,
it ultimately means i get alot of access to
places that sell nice or not so nice food,
and of course drinks!!

I didnt know i could actually get addicted
to drinks, and im not talking about
the alcohol-concentrated that makes you drunk
and vomit in the morning kind.

Its more of the sweet stuff,
and no, its neither juices nor fizzy drinks,
and its not really milk. Well,
not exactly.

Ever since last month, when i tasted this really
nice strawberry tea at sweetalk,
that i truely became addicted to bubble tea!!!

And everyday now,
i would buy different kinds of bubble tea,
with all sorts of different colours,
be it the tea variety or the milkshake variety.

And today i found out that im really
in love with one of the flavours and type,
and that is Mango Milkshake!!!

Well, at least im addicted to the ones that
this shop sells at Capitol Building. And if you
dont know where that is, its exactly opposite
of City Hall MRT station, beside the
old Peninsula shopping centre.

Too bad i forgot the name of the shop,
but its “something-blog”….
Yes, the shop has blog as part of its name,
and i wonder if it has its own blog online!!!

The funny part about it is that the shop
uses green mangos instead of yellow types,
but it still tastes like normal mango and when
blended with that milkshake and pearls,
we get a concoction that soothes the throat
without fail!!

I praise that bubble tea shop and it deserves a
rating of 4 stars out of five for its good
bubble tea and shakes, and very good and fast
service. I like it.

So if ure dying to find out, go try.
